Weekly Update...

First up, belated warm wishes for Happy Diwali. Now that the festive mood is almost over, hope all you guys out there have put on some saturated fat in different angles of your body disturbing your body symmetry... juss kidding. For the exported "indian" sweets bought from nearby desi grocery store did not complement typical diwali sweets and savouries relished back home. My bad.. yeah!!

Yeah, officially, we are live as per the schedule and we are forced to see this hoarding whenever we walk into office. And everytime, I feel a sense of "Voilaa.. my code is able to sustain production transactions for 2+ weeks and is still going strong". Modesty apart, there is a sense of satisfaction for this has been my second full-fledged enterprise-level "Go-LIVE" in just around 10 months. *Blow up the champagne*.

After months of "minutes-based" defect fixes, shouting in the cubicles, phone receiver planted on the shoulded kissing the ear, long conf calls (of which I would speak for hardly few minutes) and on-the-go stand-up status meeting, life is now back to normal. It sounds so calm and serene. Yeah, quite odd!!! Seriously missing those days, for always feel, IT workplace should be vibrant with people working with hourly targets and get the adrenaline pumping atleast for 8- 10 hours at work.

Now that does not mean, I am happily browsing and playing fooseball with my mates. It is just that, it looks so different in a matter of few weeks.

For a change, I had complete weekend to rejoice. So did I, watching two Diwali blockbusters. Albeit, it wasnt enthralling at all. If any "Ilayadalapathy" Vijay and Surya fanatics, please abstain from reading the next phrase. Azhagiya Tamil magan and Vel are the worst Diwali tamil movies so far. It sucked big time!!!

The other highlight of this weekend was food. Thanks to my roaming spree, my taste-buds kept guessing about the cuisine. The likes of Thai, malaysian, malabar, continental just added the necessary fuel to the cause.

Regarding the recovery of my humeral fracture, am right on track to get my pads on for the Boxing day test. Cool.. yeah!!!

Done with the weekly status report, now the focus shifts towards spicy things in life. Just imagine this for a crappy tamil movie screenplay.

On a happy friday late evening, three friends who are guys, happen to enjoy their PJ's in a night club (read it as indian restau; just to add more life into the happening) . All of a sudden, one of them is lost. Others find out that he is drooling over a good-looking lassie sitting in the opposite table for he is kind of carried away by femme persona.

After the drooling session, the 'I-hate-females' guy in the group pokes a challenge at the flambuoyant guy to strike a chord with the female. He is challenged with one single hint to get to her. Can he strike a true conversation ?
