Friends meet at NY

Two individuals, let me name them as Raj and Sanjana are living their own life irrespective of the other. Destiny brings them together to share some of their young-age years along each other. They start mingling with each other. Then the association builds up within the close proximity of friendship.

Along the way, they fight for some stupid reasons, unite again from where they left, party along with friends, sharing personal interests with each other. Either of them, start feeling that the other person is always the one to look upto. They start talking of how their future should shape up with their spouse, dreaming of those "syrupy-chocolatey" moments signing off with a look of "Hopefully So". Albeit their busy personal career life, they pause along the way, just to touch and feel those lovely moments they shared. Along the process, in quest of their individual goals, they start moving out from each other. Although, those eternal moments are carved deep in their memory.

After a few years, their life crosses each other. But, this time, they are not two, but four. They again start reminscing those lovely times together. Whatever dreams they had spoken off about their better-half, is now a "reality". But, they are not ready to accept it. The aspirations, thoughts, dreams of being in marriage is not completely fulfilled. They start to cribb with each other. Slowly, it turns to "You are Better" kind of an attitude without crossing the limits. The dissatisfaction looms large and lingers when they are with their respective spouse.

Will they able to solve the mystery ? Will they compromise with their aspirations ? Would they break their marriage ? It can go anyway. Isnt spending few lovely moments in your friendship completely different from sharing yourself with the other person. Well, to answer these, please wait for "Kabhi Alvida naa kehna" to be released in few days :-)

Johar has picked a very sensitive subject this time around. Hopefully, he does due jusice to the story and does not provide viewers a K3G ishtyle finish. Anyways its Bollywood, you can expect the same masala in a colorful box. Akhir BOX Office paisa bhi toh kuucch cheeez hothi hai.

PS : Writer's imaginary story on viewing the promos of Kabhi Alvida naa Kehna..
