Good Morgen Sir...

On a warm sunny morning, clad in a cool-looking casual attire, with a sporty sunglass, I am driving through the Outer Ring Road in Bangalore. Shaking my body to the song from Geri haliwell, with no tensions in life, feeling totally happy I suddenly stop my Car. Park the Vaahan in The Forum parking lot and take my bagpack from the back seat and rush towards the front-entrance of the mall. There I am greeted from my pet-pals, P2A. Everyone greeting me on the special occasion and reading through. Hand shakes/Long Hugs all around. I am all smiles and feeling totally elated.

Teddy forces me to watch a movie at the PVR, in his typical kannada accent "Miyaan.. idella level bedaa, sumne picture nodonaa baa". Me at the usual diplomatic best, convey that I have lots of pending work todo for the Big occasion. Requesting them to come with their family ;-) to the place. Hurriedly, I make myself out of the mall and reach the parking lot to pick my vaahan. Humming to the songs being played, I am not at all frustrated at the huge traffic jam near the Forum. I am just making myself feel cool, with a sip of Mineral water. Finally reach L's place, convey my regards to her. And out comes that flashy rectangular paper frame. She is all smiles and greets me for the big occasion. KP cracks a joke in tulu. Bye Bye L and KP.

Reach S's home. Greeted warmly by her parents and her sis. They convey their warmest regards and Congratualatory remarks all around the space. Enroute back to home, keep calling all my friends to convey the same. Get to meet the sweetooo M ;).. she conveys her regards and assures she would be there to wish me before I fly to Mauritius.

The D-Day arrives. After all the early-morning poojas, I am totally tired. But still the occasion is not yet done. Reach the place of union. Although, I am totally tired bythen, but my physical posture is totally brimming with Self-esteem, happiness, dignity and what-not. My side of people are well-received by the other side. My parents are totally happy and it was showing in the way they greeted the guests.

I am sitting in my room, being made the "bakra of the Day" by my p2a friends all through. Smiles all around the place, unfortunately at my cost. So all the final touch-ups to my physical appearance are done by my sis. And here I go, escorted by my jeeju (as it is a custom) to that divine space in the vestibule. When I see the surround, I see people all around and all their eyes are on me as I step
forward. I make myself comfortable with the small rectangular wooden plank seat. The people from the sacredotal category are reciting all the available sanskrit words. My eyes are almost in tears, due to the outcome of the burning of those sacred leaves.

Suddenly, I feel a push from the sideways. Oops, one more person had to be accomodated in that small place. I make gestures of moving to the opposite direction :-). I am just hoping that the tears wouldnt trickle down from my eyes. All of a sudden, the Nadaswaram in the background increases the pitch and people encircle the fire. My sister gives me the divine strand of blackish/goldenish bands. I remove the joint of the strand, gently lift her chin and tie the same to her already Gold-studded neck. People around are all throwing the "Akshathe", as if they were waiting for the moment to pelt me. greetings all around the place. As a "modest-shy" person, I gently twist my left-eye to see HER. I am stunned and in total exaggerration I punch the air with utmost force. As a result of which, the knot which was tied to the pallu of her saree, to my shawl loosens itself and my sis ties it tight again. It was my marriage... my wedding day and the bride was her.. yeah it was Her.. buoy the same lady whom I admired all through seeing her virtually. It was the most enticing lady, T K.. Greetings all around.. Trrrinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg..... Good Morning Sir, Its Thursday 7 am, the Breakfast is ready for you. Could you please make your way to the lobby?

Back to Room No. 28 - BARK Hotel, Den Bosch, Nederlands :(
