Just Smiling all the way through....

Buoy o' buoy, every arteries from my heart are carrying the below questions on their way through my body and returning back with only answer – “(High) Performance. Delivered” J

            - Have you ever felt the excitement of working on an activity for around 56 hours uninterrupted across different locations in a “command centre” like environment?

            -  Have you ever shouted so hard and greeted the (unknown) people in a 100+ member command centre in front of your client when THE message was conveyed after 48 hours?

            - Have you ever felt like doing the Cadburys jig (remember that Doordarshan days, ad on ‘Dairy Milk’ with Cricket theme) once you are out of the office?

            - Have you ever made your cellphone die within few hours of recharge and carried the phone battery recharger in your trouser?

        .

  .

Many more…And can someone please answer what is the normal threshold limit for a human without sleep?

On Friday early morning, one of my senior manager sent this text on my Nokia – Go get ‘em this weekend Tiger! J

And today morning, am thinking of being one in the “corporate jungle”.

Keep rollicking folks….(pakku is earnestly waiting to uncork the champagne tonight - drop in for some booze roll)

PS: Me in accomplished elated mood of highest degree J and I cant stop smiling.

Back in Melbourne...

I landed in Melbourne last sunday evening and got back to rigours of Melbourne life from word go. Literally. Catch a cab from airport to office and work overnight. Non-stop 8-hour schedule from 10pm to 6am in the morning. Go home and crash till noon and again back in office. Welcome to pakkus centre for "101 ways to beat jetlag". That was one of them. Believe me, I had to work those hours, thanks to the project phase we are in. No complaints.

That is one fascinating thing of landing back in Melbourne. You become a part of it once you land in Tullamarine. But, this time around we had special screening due to new epidemic outbreak in other parts of the world. Hope Australia stays pristine as is.

Regarding my trip to Chennai/Bangalore, it was again work-hotel-work-work. But did get a chance to rejoice with family and few friends for couple of days. Needless to say, it is always nice to be home with near/dear ones. In these days, could accomplish a few more things which I never planned for. Visit to Corner house, shopping in 3-4 malls (did i say i like blore malls more than ones in Chennai!! ), Wing rides, road-side chaats, ISKCON, first visit to BIAL (inevitable :-) ). And yeah, I got to meet(just see) Asin and another tamil movie star in my flight back to Chennai from bangalore. I was quite amazed to know he was a kannadiga shuttling to chennai for work. Loved his simplicity over talk with a stranger like me.  Although it was quick 10-day trip, it was quite exciting as I had to spend every minute (away form work in bangalore) very cautiously and with maximum returns.

Regarding my stay in Taj Fisherman's cove, I love this place for its close proximity to the beach and for their maharaja-like breakfast menu. Awesome!!!!  If you are planning for a holiday stay here, carry dollar bills in your wallet.

This month will define our path forward for this workplace assignment and moreso, media is closely monitoring us. As I prepare myself and the team for the biggest ever code-drop of my career thus far, keeping my fingers crossed and eagerly awaiting some holiday break on successful note.

Have fun folks...
